Welcome! In this area of my site, I post items of note and/or interest and sometimes just from just plain ecstatic exuberance - such as the announcement of winning a photographic Award or Honor. Hopefully over time there will be lots of entries here. I'm trying my little heart out!!!

This is so exciting, I have never been 'published' (in print) before. Will post which photo(s) won as soon as I know.
Great news - my image "Tattered" has won a place in Delray Beach's Cornell Museum's Gallery from mid February through mid May, 2014. This image has won other awards and continues to be one of my more artistically critical pieces.
I have posted most of the images from our summer cruise to the Baltic Sea Region ports of call. Please look for "Travel" in the "Portfolios" menu list on the main page. In reviewing my work, I want to go back and spend a week in each country that we visited. You will also find new work from the trip in the Abstract, Architecture and Still Life Collections.
As of the end of August, I did not make the final cut in the International Fine Art Photography Competition/Paris, France this year. Good impetus to do better next year. Have not heard from International Color awards/The Photography Masters Cup as of early September. They have pushed back their notifications until later this month or early October.
I have been notified twice in the last 30 days from two separate international photographic competitions that one or more of my images have been selected and placed into the semi-final round of the judging. If my image(s) make it into the final round, I could win an Award, which would be truly wonderful or even better, 3rd, 2nd, or 1st place or Best in Show in a category. Any of these special recognitions will be most thrilling as it tells me that I am growing in my ability and in my expression of my art. Stay posted - both competitions should be finalized by early August.
